Pink Grapefruit Margarita

Product needed: Balkis Pink Grapefruit

1 medium lime,

6 teaspoons of grenadine syrup,
1 1/2 cup Balkis Pink Grapefruit juice,
6 serving glasses, Ice cubes

- Mix grenadine syrup, lime, and grapefruit juices well. Add simple syrup for more sweetness.
- Rub one of the used lime around the rim of two glasses and dip in cocktail salt.
- Fill each glass with ice and pour in the margarita.


Zesty Ginger

Product needed: Balkis Lemon Squeeze

Fresh Ginger

Simple Syrup
Ice Cubes

- Wash, peel and slice ginger. Throw it in a jug filled with water and simple syrup and place in the fridge overnight.
- The following morning add Balkis lemon squeeze based on your own preference.
- Serve in a glass full of ice


Pomegranate Mojito

Product needed: Balkis Pomegranate

1 1/2 cup Balkis pomegranate juice
1/2 cup water
5 cm piece of ginger
1/2 cup castor sugar
1/2 cup pomegranate
10 mint sprigs
2 limes cut into wedges
1 1/2 cup fizzy or soda water

- Heat the sugar, ginger, and water in a small saucepan, stirring continuously until the sugar is dissolved. 
- Simmer uncovered for 5-8 minutes until slightly thickens and reduced in amount. Cool.
- Divide mint and lime wedges among 2 glasses. Pour 2 T of the sugar syrup in each glass. 
- Using a wooden spoon or muddler, crush the mixture to release the juice and oils of the fruit and mint.
Top each glass with crushed ice, fill with a mixture of cold pom and fizzy or soda water and serve.


Apple Sorbet

Product needed: Balkis Apple

1 liter Balkis Apple Juice
a little icing sugar
lemon juice

- Whisk a little icing sugar and lemon juice into your apple juice to get the right balance of sweetness and acid, remembering that when frozen the power of both sweetness and acidity are diminished.
- Pour into plastic dishes then remove them from the freezer when the mixture is just frozen (but not rock hard) and scratch up into a soft sorbet using a fork.
- Either serve straightaway or pack into tubs and freeze. Defrost for 30-60 minutes at room temperature before serving.


Orange Julius Mocktail

Product needed: Balkis orange

1 cup of​ orange juice
2 ounces​ milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoon sugar
1 scoop vanilla ice cream

- Place all ingredients in a blender with 1/2 cup of ice.
- Blend until smooth.
- Pour into a chilled hurricane glass.


Mawardi elderflower cocktail

Product needed: Balkis Mawardi

1 oz Balkis Mawardi
3/4 oz elderflower syrup
1/2 oz lime juice
2 1/2 oz ginger ale

- In a serving glass, combine elderflower, lime juice, and ginger ale.
- Top glass with ice.
- Slowly pour Mawardi juice.
- Garnish with blood orange slices and fresh lemon thyme sprigs, if desired. Serve immediately.


Afandi Rosemary Sparkler

Product needed: Balkis Afandi

3 oz Balkis Afandi Juice
1/2 oz Rosemary Syrup
Orange flavored sparkling water (unsweetened)
a few dashes orange bitters
Extra rosemary sprigs and slices of clementine, for garnish

- In a glass or cocktail shaker, add the afandi juice and rosemary syrup.  Stir or shake until combined.
- Pour into serving glass (can serve on the rocks or not).  Top with sparkling water and add a few dashes orange bitters.
- Gently stir to mix.  Garnish with slices of clementine and rosemary sprigs.


Grapefruit Mocktail

Product needed: Balkis Grapefruit

1 1/2 cups Balkis grapefruit juice
1 cup rosemary syrup
3-4 cups club soda
fresh rosemary sprigs
grapefruit slices

- Combine rosemary syrup, grapefruit juice, and club soda in a pitcher, or in individual cups and serve immediately over ice.
- Garnish glasses with fresh rosemary sprigs and a slice of grapefruit if desired.
